Gymnastics-Potty-Dancing

The last week has been very interesting. Savannah has shown us the real her. She can swing her hips like a real pro to Barney, kick her leg high, high enough to rest one on the couch and one on the floor. As for the potty, she has had peepee three times yesterday and two today. We were impressed she comes to get your hand and takes you to it. I have been working with her for the last three weeks now on this, and if she grabs herself then we know its too late. No poop yet, but we will get there. I have a goal to have her out of diapers by May before her 2nd birthday. If I can do it with her brothers when they were small I hope to do it with her. I put her on the potty, when she wakes up after a nap, after her meals and first thing in the morning, while watching Baby Einstein. Now as for gymnastics, what a hoot. The minute we arrived she had a blast, from bouncing the ball, to swinging on the bars to walking the beam. At first, on the beam she could not get the hang of it that its one foot in front of the other after 3 times around she did it. The coach said she (has no fear). She then jumps onto the horse and off into the foam (see photos). The bars were something else, she just wanted to do it alone. I must admit she was one of the smallest out of the 30 babies but fast (watch out she has speed).Next week its daycare in the mornings, then fulltime after that. As for her sleeping, last night down at 7:30pm up at 7am (won't last). But I must admit I am a firm believer of routine, and she knows when its bed time we talk about it for half hour before, (saying night night soon), then we go around saying goodnight to the fish, dog, Karl and Ross. Savannah wakes up during the night about 3 times but nothing that makes us have to go and settle her (unless teething). I go in to check she is covered over, so I am used to 6-7 hours now broken up sleep. Her new name for her brother is Roff (not Ross). Savannah is now 18lbs and in size 12-18 month, her specialist is very happy with her and all her tests she had are all negative, even her wheat allergy. She is just a tiny Asian with a fantastic personality and lots of love to give.
