Family Updates

Well xmas was for sure a busy time this year, with my sister and her 3 children from England. I think Savannah was a little overwhelmed by it all, however on a good note she was so excited with all her gifts and as you can see from the photo above she received a cottage and we put it in the basement. The photo with her best friend (Sandy) the dog is them both waiting for daddy to come home. The potty photo is Savannah who refuses to sit on the potty and do her business with her diaper off. We are making slow progress there. Today she put two words together (no more) it sounded funny since I am used to hearing her only say one word at a time. She can say fish (it comes out dish), her brothers name is getting clearer instead of Ross its Roff. Her brother Karl is back at McMaster today, he bought her tickle me elmo for xmas she can't make it out yet as to why he rolls all over the place laughing. Yes, we have cut more teeth but in weird places, up to now she has two bottom, one top, and now one molar. The second top tooth is ready to burst and so are many more, she is in pain because they are coming all at once. So nana from England has sent over the pain reliever (bongela) I used this on the boys and its amazing after 10 seconds the whole area is numb. Well the time is getting closer I will be back to work Feb 5th. Savannah is going to a fantastic daycare down the street, it took us 5.5 months to get her in there. She starts Jan 22nd mornings for the first week, I really do like their set up its a classroom style, and lots to do for her which she needs. The best is they have a built in cook, then we can see what she really does eat because we get a report every night on what she has done and had to eat. We are hoping to attend the Chinese New Year celebration in Thornhill, February, we will also be celebrating this special time at home with family and friends. Jan 13th its gymnastics time, yes we enrolled Savannah in gymnastics every Saturday. She is tiny, active and can almost do the splits, when I went for the tour once in the gym Savanahh said WOW!!!. Anyways once we have photos I will post them. So Dave and I are now busy every weekend, gymnastics Saturday and skating on a Sunday, not to mention watching Ross's hockey. Well I will try and update when I am back at work during the evening. New words for her now are: Balloon, Fish, Toast, Cup, Chick. Her favorite food is Pasta, Sausage, Rice, Cup Cakes, Chicken Nuggets and anything spicy. She is on antibiotics again for a Urinary Tract Infection, but doing just fine, and Friday its time for her 18month check up and more shots, last ones until 2 years old. I finally give in and cut her bangs, now she looks like a little girl not a baby. Its hilarious to see her wink at you, she does it with both eyes, and if you hurt yourself she thinks its funny. I could go on and on with updates but its time for me now, she is sleeping. One last note, she loves the men in her life (daddy, and brothers) as for me, she is my princess.
